Vision

The vision of the CoreDAO Name Service is to create a decentralized and self-sovereign identity system that puts individuals and organizations in control of their own digital identities and data. Eliminating the need for centralized authorities to manage and verify identities, and to enable individuals and organizations to manage their own identities, establish trust relationships with others, and control the data that is associated with their identities.

CNS is a non-profit project, and our goal is to make the project community-driven. The project aims to provide a decentralized naming service accessible to all, where users are in control of their data, and ownership of assets is preserved. CNS's ultimate goal is to promote a more decentralized and equitable internet.
